into the city right now. we can show you 580 westbound and then also up in the pittsburgh antioch area, slow going there on highway 4 as you make your way towards concord. last but not least, 280 san jose and traffic is moving along pretty well. 6:07 here is steve. >>> cloudy skies, now last hour, there has been some light rain in mendocino and down to salina, it is cloudy and a few areas of fog. this system is considerably weaker than the one we have and it looks like we will pick it up later tonight into tomorrow and nothing close to the systems. still a lot of cloud cover and tonight into tomorrow morning. you can see it tries to pick things up but it will stay but we need the low to move in and that will not be until tonight. there is 5:00 and that might be a little overdone but the evening commute has a better opportunity for rain. the front will move through tomorrow morning and after that we'll see a pattern change. a little bit of rain up towards lake county and into mendocino, but right now it seems to be about clover dale and north, so far not in the north bay but if it is, it is

intense squall line through crescent city. that's our system. it'll move slowly. it's still back out here but in advance you could get warm sector rain. that would be over the north bay. clear lake had some rain but now just cloudy. i -- could be round windsor, santa rosa, i think that will be today's event if there is any rain. on the southern edge until tonight and then the heavy rain. this system on its way. today is that in between day. the cloud, rain forecast starts to bring it in by tonight and then by about five, six it starts to move toward napa. it'll be into lake county and then it sits there. it doesn't move until late tonight. there in lies what could be a lot of rain. this is tomorrow morning. when it's coming over us. it may take a while to get to -- the south bay but it'll be there tonight and then hang out. napa county, lake county. for us a very mild day. some light rain but the heavy rain tonight, tomorrow morning. we get a break friday night, saturday, monday does look dry. >> all right. thank you. we are back on storm watch this morning, the second of several storms

to the news live at 5:30 here at 30 rock in new york city. this morning, president obama departs to pennsylvania where he will continue his campaign sales pitch on how to solve the country's fiscal challenges. yesterday treasury secretary tim geithner met with republicans to unveil the white house's budget proposal which includes $1.6 trillion in new tax revenue over ten years as well as $50 billion in additional stimulus spending. with limited details on spending cuts, the gop's reaction, less than encouraging. senator mitch mcconnell reportedly burst into laughter while geithner was in the middle of outlining obama's plan. and house speaker john boehner who described his phone call with the president wednesday night as disappointing was not impressed by the white house proposal. >> no substantive progress has been made in the talks between the white house and the house over the last two weeks. right now all eyes are on the white house. the country doesn't need a victory lap. it needs leadership. it's time for the president and congressional democrats to tell the american people

girl could be running out of time. rick folbaum is live in our new york city newsroom with more. >> police say the girl could die in a matter of days unless she is found and taken back to a hospital for treatment. her name is emily bracamonte, she is 11 years old, she has been getting chemo to treat her leukemia for the past month. there have been complications, she developed an infection. doctors had to amputate part of one of her arms and insert a catheter into her heart. she apparently had that catheter in when for some reason her mother norm a removed the iv. dressed her in street clothes and walked her out of the front door of the hospital last wednesday night. the catheter is the biggest certain for doctors. leaving it in too long could lead to another infection, one that could kill her they say. the girl and her mother are american citizens, the girl's mother, louis bracamonte is mexican. he has a green card. neither parent is charged with a crime at this point. police are anxious to find this little girl to get her treatment. there is speculation that the mom took her ou
